Just a quick note to everyone who had planned to go horseback riding tonight. Due to the crazy rain we are getting - we have decided to postpone the event.
Your deposits are still valid and can be used for the next date you want to go.
I spoke with Echo Lake Stables and they said they have spots available for Next Saturday : November 1st , and also the following Saturday Night : November 8th.
You are free to choose whichever, or ANY date to go that works best for you. If you'd like to stick as a group, please let me know which night or day works best for you.
Night rides only run on Saturdays from 6pm-9pm. The group of riders is limited to 25 ppl. It's first come first served if you do not have a reservation. Just a head's up, there were 17 others who signed up for tonight's night ride besides us, so they will be rescheduling as well.
If you are up for a day ride, we can do Saturday or Sundays -- morning or afternoon. We show up when we want, and we would ride with our little group only, instead of a pack of 25. The BBQ/Music is not included with these rides. I believe it's $50 for 1.5 hours.
I believe Nov 1st is out. I have an event that afternoon, and that evening Mike and I will be at Dorney's Haunt. Alicia & Will will be helping her mom move. -- Whoever is free and willing to help a friend out, I'm sure they'll welcome the help!!
Since we've gone to the same place more than once, we know the quality of the rides are pretty consistent and the people who guide us are pretty attentive to the riders and horses needs.
Riders of all levels are invited to participate. No skill necessary (really, no joke there) .. just be able to sit on a horse for at least 1.5 hrs. The employees at the ranch will fit you with the perfect horse for your riding ability.

Saturday Night Trail Ride :Every Saturday evening leaving the stable area at 6:00PM. Included is an hour-and-a-half trail ride and a one-and-a-half-hour Western-style BBQ, live entertainment and lots of quality fun with an old fashioned hayride at the end of the evening. The live entertainment consists of a DJ in the woods. The BBQ consists of Hamburgers & Hotdogs. There is usually a group of about 25 people max on this trail ride. It can be slow paced...but that is good for those who are not comfortable with riding a horse. Price: $60/person (a $20 deposit is required mailed via check - remainder is due the night of (Cash only))

Don't worry, if you can't make this event, we will be planning another ride in the winter for a change of scenery. Also, I'd like to plan an event for those who want to take private/group lessons at a faster pace...
