Hello World!
In case you are new to the site or didn't get the "memo". This is an email I recently sent out --

Date: September 11th
Subject: To Keep Things Going...

Body: Was thinking -- for those of you who are free, and feel the need to just get out of the house on a weekend and chill -- here's what I'm suggesting...

Once a month, on a saturday day or night, we all get together and do something. Whether it's catch a matinee movie and some dinner, going to a drive-in, bowling, shopping, take a mini trip somewhere, dinner party at someone's house, game night, bbq, or whatever --- i think it could be fun.

It doesn't even have to be, just the girls, it can be girls and guys and couples or non-couples etc... whoever wants to go. Doesn't have to cost a lot of money either.

There are a few girls on theknot.com that have decided to do this with their gal pals to keep in touch and keep their friendships going. We all know how work, married life, single life and kids can change people's relationships with their friends -- I thought this was a good idea to escape the monotony of everday .

It's not mandatory - just whoever is available and wants to go, goes... events are up for grabs if anyone wants to do something particular, just suggest it! I'm willing to make the trek, North, South, East or West to do things together and am willing to carpool with those from areas nearby!

I love hanging out with all of you and don't want to lose it due to all the changes we are all experiencing in life.

What do you think? 1 saturday a month, maybe the 1st saturday, 2nd, or whichever to keep it easy??
